So, Carl, take more and more inventory, tell us the speed of the PC, operating system, other programs running, run the Ctrl-Alt-Del window and tell us EVERYTHING listed, run HijackThis and see what's loading, run Belarc Advisor and show us what your computer looks like. I have a "stripper" PC do my scanning that boots ONLY the operating system and the scanner software, and has NO other USB devices attached - CLEAN! What interface - FireWire or USB - USB 1 or 2 - other items on the USB sockets?ĪntiVirus running in the background - OFF? What each menu choice you have chosen, especially auto ANYTHING? ROM version in the scanner - let the mouse hover in the upper right of the SCAN screen?
